I had a revelation. "Stress" is not the same to me anymore. Every little thing that used to bother me is now a cake-walk. All I get stressed about now is keeping him healthy and keeping his caregivers on the ball....
I am happy to say that we got most of his meds and they were delivered right to the door! YAY! That little piece of the puzzle fit right into place. No more waiting in lines with other folks who may be ill with something dangerous for Griff! YAY! All that needs to happen now is smoothing out a few wrinkles here and there in the process. Thank you DJ, the cf nurse at Children's Oakland. She is awesome and I'm so happy she is there to help me.
Also more cool stuff to post.....
A woman is going to give Griffin some of her kids books that they've grown out of so we can read them to him while doing treatments! Another big, giant, YAY!

My new "diary" of all the great stuff, the good stuff and.... the not so good stuff
Well, I am really hoping that I can use this site for all kinds of things. Trying to get it all down for my peace of mind and also to hopefully help Griffin by showing him how much he is loved and how important his, and our, health is.
Happy B-day to me. It was a hard day but still okay. The issues with getting Griffins meds filled and the new pharmacy were at the forefront. Lets hope that it all arrives tomorrow like it's supposed to. It is so frustrating to feel like I did today. I realized that I am soooooooo not in charge of what happens. I need to be totally, absolutely vigilant, to the point of being perfect, and still things can just fall apart. I sure hope everything smooths out and we can have a good relationship with this new CF Specialty Pharmacy. Nothing is more frustrating than not knowing what's going on.
I realize that no-one is perfect and appreciate the nurse and all her help today. But come on enough pharmacy issues already. Please just let Griffin stay healthy and get his meds on time!

My baby, my true love found
How can anyone describe the love they have for their child in mere words.............................?
Griffin, I hope that this blog can help us both. I want everyone to know what it is we go through on a daily basis dealing with cf. It is ours together, this illness. I will never leave you to deal with this alone. I will always do my best to get you what you need. I will be there for you, I promise.
